No-Gi winter camp with Stuart Cooper

Winter camps are “by invitation only” — they’re only open to those who have already been to Grappler’s Retreat. Get in touch if you’d like to bring a friend who hasn’t been here yet — if there’s space, we may be able to accommodate newcomers (as long as you’re coming with them too).

March 15 - March 18, 2024

Tentative Schedule (Friday afternoon arrivals, with Monday morning departures):

  • Feel free to arrive any time after 2pm on Friday March 15th

  • For those arriving early enough, we’ll do an open mat rolling session Friday at 5:00pm

  • Twice-daily No-Gi training sessions with Stuart Cooper on Saturday and Sunday

  • Gourmet Meals all weekend:

    • breakfasts made-to-order on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday mornings.

    • light lunches served on Saturday and Sunday

    • dinner feasts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights

  • I’m sure we’ll get in some cold plunges in the river too… and a coastal sunset hike if the weather cooperates!

Booking Fee:

**The retreat will keep absolutely no income from the bookings — 100% of proceeds (minus food expense) will go to Stuart in support of his new academy — scheduled for grand opening mid-2024!

From $550 all-inclusive (additional donations are most welcome if you can afford more — this can be done on the checkout page — but no pressure)

What’s included:

  • 3-nights private bedroom at the retreat

  • gourmet meals every day… plus the usual spread of beverages, fresh baked cookies, snacks, and fruit

  • small-group training with Stuart Cooper (Stu is among the best No-Gi grapplers i’ve ever had the pleasure of hosting)

  • and of course enjoyment of all the retreat’s amenities (hot tub, sauna, etc)

**PLEASE NOTE (refund policy): I can’t give you a refund (or a future credit) if you claim a spot, and then later end up not being able to make it. Space is limited and this will sell out — so if you claim a spot, then we need you to be 100% committed to funding the camp’s budget. We’re counting on revenue from each and every room booking and it’s almost impossible to re-book last-minute cancellations. Thanks for understanding.
