We wanted to offer an experience that is not simply about being in the presence of a "star grappler", but more importantly about creating a genuine grappling camp for those serious about their training and for those interested in cross-training with like-minded individuals from different schools and affiliations. Our past Retreats have been attended by grapplers from numerous teams, including: Gracie Barra, Gracie Jiu Jitsu, American Top Team, Brazilian Top Team, 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu, Hayastan Grappling Team, Werneck BJJ, and Amazonas BJJ. All of these training camps are capped at only 22 participants to maintain an extremely productive training experience. Instruction is in-depth and coaching is hands-on.

Beyond providing a world-class training experience, Grappler's Retreat is uniquely set apart with its incredible Mendocino Coast location. The Mendocino Coast is best known for its awe-inspiring natural environment, with its secluded rugged coastline and old-growth redwood forests. Grapplers of all backgrounds, from beginners to world champions, have an opportunity to better appreciate the primal aspect of their art while training in this amazing place.
